Neil Jones, 37, took to Instagram to film Alex Scott, 34, and co-star Chris Ramsey, 33, taking some time out from Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals just hours before the first live show of the series. The professional dancer will be making his debut with a celebrity partner this year and has been working hard in training with the former Arsenal footballer to perfect the Quickstep. However, he seemed less than impressed with Alex’s attitude when he caught her larking about with Chris while getting involved in a game of Mario Kart. Neil sarcastically explained to his 179,000 followers: “What’s great is that all the celebs take the dancing so serious.
“They’re constantly focused on dancing. Dance, dance, dance.”
The British ballroom and Latin champion then turned the camera to face the pundit and the comedian, as he added: “Isn’t that right guys?”
Chris jokingly exclaimed in response: “Shut up Neil, we’re playing Mario Kart!”
The funny man went on to show his competitive side as he said to Alex: “I’m in sixth, you’ve just overtook me!”

Neil then flipped the camera to reveal his reaction to their antics, as he pulled an angry face.
Elsewhere, the dancer opened up about a “moment” he shared with Alex during rehearsals last week.
Neil told fans: “We’ve just had a moment, there’s a certain figure we just danced, which has been giving us a little bit of a problem.”
Reflecting on how things had progressed between the pair, the newly-single star continued: “Something just clicked, it clicked…
“I’m just going to put this out there, that was up there for me with Liverpool winning the Champions League.”
However, in spite of their special moment together, Alex was not happy with the comparison to the sporting event, as she played for Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Arsenal.
“Oh please…” she laughed, “I was going with you until that point.”
