Saffron Barker, 19, was forced to wear trainers on the red carpet at a glamorous event last night due to sore feet from Strictly Come Dancing 2019 training.
The YouTube star, who is partnered with professional dancer AJ Pritchard in this year’s dance competition, was pictured at the premiere of Big the Musical.
The social media star showcased her toned pins in a white shirt dress which was nipped in at the waist by a corset-style lace-up belt, and red and white trainers.
The glitzy premiere was also attended by former Strictly star Kimberly Walsh, 37, and her Girls Aloud co-star Cheryl, 36, not to mention series 13 champion Jay McGuiness, 29.
Taking to social media this morning, Saffron told her 1.3 million Instagram followers: “As you can see I ditched the heels for trainers as my feet are SO sore…”
She went on to thank charity Make a Wish as well as the cast of the musical for “such an incredible evening”.
All proceeds from the gala performance go to the children’s charity, which grants life-changing wishes for kids with critical illnesses.
Saffron continued: “Such an amazing charity that I’ve worked with before & what a brilliant show Big The musical!”
Taking to the comments section of her post, the star’s dancer partner AJ, 24, added: “Trainers… (followed by a laughing emoji and the hands celebrating in the air sign) Protect them feet.”
The pair have working up a sweat in the training room as they prepare for the first live show of the series on Saturday night.
