Michelle Obama snub: Ex-FLOTUS’ shock as Democrats veto Trump advice – ‘They go low’

At the Democratic National Convention in 2016 Michelle gave a rousing speech about raising her daughters and the importance of rising above negative influences. She said: “When they go low, we go high.” The motto held by Michelle also refers to rising above the opposition.

Despite her strong words, they have been ignored by Democrats and anti-Trump advocates.

In an interview, one person claimed he would call the President ‘Con Don’ “because thats what he deserved to be called, he’s a con man”.

Symone Sanders, former national press secretary for Bernie Sanders, called Trump a white supremacist in a CNN interview.

During another interview, Mr Sanders referred to Trump as a pathological liar.

Michelle claimed her slogan was still “absolutely’ relevant while being interviewed by NBC last year.

She added: “And if you think about how you want your kids to be raised, how you want them to think about life and their opportunities, do you want them afraid of their neighbours?

“Do you want them angry? Do you want them vengeful?”

She added: “We want them to grow up with promise and hope.

“And we can’t model something different if we want them to be better than that.”

It came as Hillary Clinton told CNN she could not be “civil” with the opposition.

She said: “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about.

“That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again.”

Contrary to her now famed motto, Michelle has been known to make jibes towards the controversial President.

In 2017 Michelle described her true feelings about the 2017 inauguration as Trump took over from her husband Barack Obama.

Appearing on NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show’, host Jimmy Fallon shared a picture of Michelle and Barack waving goodbye from Air Force One and asked if she could share her thoughts.

Michelle asserted “Bye Felicia!”, promoting laughter from Fallon and the audience.

The phrase is intended to be demeaning and dismissive.

In her new memoir, ‘Becoming’, Michelle wrote she would “never forgive” Trump for his involvement in the further movement against her husband.

This month, Trump targeted both of the Obama’s post-White House deals in a string of tweets.

Trump called for an investigation to be launched into the numerous Netflix and book deals the Obama’s have racked up.

In April, Michelle revealed their production company, Higher Ground Productions, would be releasing several projects as part of a new partnership with Netflix.

Although Netflix has yet to disclose the terms of the agreement, similar deals with celebrities have been worth millions.
