Allen Leech’s wife Jessica Blair Herman reveals pregnancy news at Downtown Abbey premiere

Downtown Abbey star Allen Leech, 38, proudly posed for pictures alongside his wife Jessica Blair Herman, who cradled her pregnancy bump in several pictures.

The brunette beauty, also an actress, placed her hand on her stomach while sporting a figure-hugging gold frock.

Allen stood alongside his smiling spouse wearing a smart black suit and matching bow tie.

According to The Sun, the couple confirmed Jessica is five months pregnant.

Allen told the publication: “She is absolutely blooming. She is five months pregnant today. I’m nervous.”

The duo tied the knot at a a romantic ceremony in Santa Barbara, California back in January.

Jessica shared a picture of the pair from their big day on Instagram just days after the ceremony.

In view of her followers, the newlyweds could be seen posing alongside two horses as Allen proudly placed his arm around his new spouse.

Jessica’s attire consisted of a strapless dress accompanied with a veil, while Allen sported a smart navy suit with a bow tie.

In view of her 7,475 followers, she wrote: “We got married last weekend! There was magic in the air and rain in the sky and we were the happiest we have ever been.

“We were surrounded by an enormous amount of love that was truly palpable.

“We can’t thank our families, friends, wedding planners, and photographer enough… and these beautiful horses!”

In her most recent social media post in May, she paid a tribute to her husband in a gushing caption.

Alongside a picture of the loved-up duo, she wrote: “Happy birthday to the love of my life!

“You are the most extraordinary husband and I’m so lucky to call you mine!”

Elsewhere tonight, Allen was joined by his Downtown Abbey cast members including Michelle Dockery, 37, and Laura Carmichael, 33, ahead of the highly-anticipated film release.

Downtown Abbey last appeared on screens back in 2015 as part of a final festive special.

The film centres around a royal visit to Downton, causing a stir among the servants and the Crawley family.

Teasing what fans can expect from the movie, Allen recently said there will be more screen time between his character and Lady Mary [played by Michelle Dockery].

“You’ll see more of Branson and Lady Mary together,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

“They are a great team, and also in the film, more so than ever before.”
