New iPhone 11 release this week – FIVE key things every Apple fan must know

The new Apple iPhone 11 could be just days away from being revealed with the US firm holding a major event later this week.

Fans could be treated to a number of new devices and expect plenty of surprises along the way.

Apple could also reveal when its new iOS 13 software will be pushed out to customers and there could also be news on the new macOS and iPadOS updates.

However, if it’s the new iPhone 11 you’re interested in then here’s five things every Apple fan should know.

WHEN WILL THE iPHONE 11 BE ANNOUNCED AND RELEASED?

Apple recently sent out invites to a global event at its headquarters in Cupertino, California.

The message arrived showing a colourful Apple logo with the words “By innovation only.”

Things are set to be revealed on Tuesday, September 10 with the big show getting underway from around 6pm BST.

Although Apple will unveil its new devices this week they are unlikely to arrive in stores until the following week with Friday, September 20 looking like a possible date for fans to get their hands on one.

HOW MANY PHONES WILL APPLE REVEAL?

There’s no official word on exactly what Apple will unveil on Tuesday but rumours are rife that three new devices will be shown to the world.

If the latest reports are correct, Apple fan could see a new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max unveiled on stage by Tim Cook and the rest of his team.

Sadly, those hoping for a refresh to the iPhone SE could be left disappointed as it seems a cheaper device may have been put on hold until next year.

WHAT NEW FEATURES ARE COMING?

All of these smartphones are set for a faster A13 processor, improved battery life and something called Bilateral Wireless charging which will allow them to refill other devices when touched back to back.

The main differences between these new phones could arrive in the form of the cameras with the Pro models getting a triple rear snapper and the standard iPhone 11 offering a dual-lens system similar to that already found on current Xs models.

Some reports are also stating that the Pro devices will get Apple Pencil support which could prove to be a hugely popular decision.

Other usual extras could include Face ID unlocking, wireless charging, water-resistant design and the impressive Retina display.

HOW MUCH WILL THEY COST?

A leak posted on Twitter by Apple Hub, claims to reveal full details about the next generation of iPhones and it even includes full pricing.

If true, the good news is that Apple doesn’t appear to be putting up prices in 2019 which will be a welcome relief to those thinking of upgrading.

However, the bad news is that the identical pricing means these are still very expensive gadgets.

There’s no way to prove this leak is correct but here’s how much each device will cost according to the post.

iPhone 11 will start from today $749, the iPhone 11 Pro $999 and the Pro Max $1,099.

HOW CAN I VIEW THE KEYNOTE?

There will be numerous way to tune into Apple’s keynote including heading to firm’s website or watching via your Apple TV streaming device.

This year it seems the US technology firm will also add another way for fans to get all the news with the event being streamed on YouTube.

A notice on Apple’s channel says, “Cupertino calling. Join us for an Apple special event live from the Steve Jobs Theater on September 10 at 10 a.m. PDT. Set a reminder and we’ll send an update before the show.”

express.co.uk will also be bringing you full highlights and updates throughout the show.
