It is the end of an era because Nicki Minaj has announced that she is retiring.
The legendary rapper shared a simple tweet where she explained that she is going to focus on having a family with Kenneth Petty.
She wrote: “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checking me. Love you for LIFE.”
One fan had this reaction: “Good for her she’s made millions, and she’s had a long run maybe she just wants to settle down now and make them babies.”
This supporter of the iconic femcee stated: “She’s dedicated 12 years of her life The Hip Hop. And put having a personal life on the back burner. It’s the perfect time for her to now focus on her personal life and starting a family.”
A person revealed: “I honestly saw this coming for a while, but, I don’t think she meant forever. Just a few yes to get married & have some babies.”
This backer claimed: “Nicki Minaj can’t retire yet… she and Drake and Lil Wayne need to come together and make one last track together… 👑 #epic.”
Nicki Minaj has been proud of her partner and has been showing him off to the world very actively lately, with various posts on Instagram delving deep into their relationship.
And just recently, Nicki took another opportunity to show off her man and posted a video on Instagram where he was standing beside her, topless, with the two soaking in the summer sun.

Some of Nicki’s own music can be heard playing in the background of the video, and the rapper even turns to her boyfriend and starts rapping to him directly at one point.
Some fans have commented on the awkward nature of the situation, while others have pointed out that this was probably done on purpose.
Nicki seems particularly proud of the body that her man has to show, and Kenneth Petty himself has been eager to show off his assets as well.
