Marc Anthony and several other well-known figures have decided to bash President Donald Trump, who seems to be fed up with Puerto Rico because it is always getting hit by hurricanes.
In a series of insensitive tweets towards the 3,706,690 Americans who live on the island, Trump seems to insinuate that they are responsible for the natural disasters that sadly and often tear down the beautiful island.
President Trump’s harsh tweets were posted as Puerto Rico braces for Hurricane Dorian.

The former reality also star slammed “the incompetent Mayor of San Juan,” Carmen Yulín Cruz.
The president tweeted: “We are tracking closely tropical storm Dorian as it heads, as usual, to Puerto Rico. FEMA and all others are ready and will do a great job. When they do, let them know it, and give them a big Thank You – Not like last time. That includes the incompetent Mayor of San Juan!”
Marc Anthony, who helped Puerto Ricans with Jennifer Lopez in 2017 after Hurricane Maria, slammed Trump in a tweet that read: “Wow, Mr., whatever you are. We all just read your DEMENTED tweet about my beloved Puerto Rico. Coming from a gruesome individual like YOU, it makes perfect sense. Filled with corruption and incapable of managing a fully staffed HOUSE.”

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith called out Trump’s lies about Puerto Rico with facts and data.
The Fox News reporter explained: “President Trump is calling the island one of the most corrupt places on earth. He added [on Twitter] that ‘by the way, I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to Puerto Rico.’ Those are opinions as opposed to facts.”
Wow! Yet another big storm heading to Puerto Rico. Will it ever end? Congress approved 92 Billion Dollars for Puerto Rico last year, an all time record of its kind for “anywhere.”

Smith went on to explain that the island never received $92 billion aid and added: “That is decidedly not true. We checked with sources including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA. The latest numbers show that as of the end of June, the federal government has allocated $42.7 billion for Puerto Rico… About $21 billion is binding. In other words, Congress has to pay it. Of that, Puerto Rico has received less than $14 billion. So $14 billion or less. Not $92 billion.”

Some experts say that Trump’s apparent disdain for the island has a lot to do with the 2020 election and the Midwestern states that will be crucial for the winner.
