Just hours after the VMAs, Lizzo gave an interview to ET and she got real about her love life! She revealed things like what she’s looking for in a lover as well as her current dating status!
Reminding people how real she can get, Lizzo jokingly told the news outlet that ‘My DMs are more poppin’ than my p***y, I’ll tell you that much. This guy tried to holler at me at the bar last night and for some odd reason, I just wasn’t feeling it. I don’t know what it is now, but you can’t just be like, ‘You ordering all those drinks by yourself? I’ll help you carry those drinks. Excuse me.’ Like, I feel like I need something else.’
The rapper went on to argue that a lot of the time, it’s difficult to trust some types of men she meets.
That explains her iconic ‘I’m 100% that b***h,’ line.
Referring to her fame, Lizzo explained that ‘No one tried to holler at me before’ which is why she finds it hard to believe men’s intentions with her.
That being said, for her to give them a chance, they apparently need to either exude some kind of realness or be ‘fine as hell.’
The female rapper then proceeded to throw shade at the man she’d met the night before, saying he was neither real, nor hot.
‘I understand more and more why famous people be f**king. I think it’s hard to understand what it’s like to have a connection with somebody outside of all of this s**t. Famous people connect with millions of people and everybody is in love with them and wants you and wanna smash and everybody wanna be your best friend, so it’s really hard to kind of cipher through the bulls**t and find the real people,’ she reflected.

For now, she wants to focus most of her time and energy on her career, however.
