Shooting on the latest James Bond movie No Time To Die has been taking place in Matera, southern Italy this morning. Materasocial captured a car chase involving 007’s classic Aston Martin DB5, which was seen zooming around one of the city’s squares. According to MI6 HQ, Daniel Craig’s Bond is expected to be chased by an electric blue 2020 Jaguar F-Type Coupe. Filming on the car chase is expected to shoot until August 30, before moving to the Sassi district in early September.
Some fans have speculated she will be killed off shortly after marrying Bond, reflecting the end of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
Spectre, the last Bond movie, ended with 007 and Swann driving off in his Aston Martin DB5 – so presumably, this car chase takes place not long afterwards?
Whether Swann survives or not, the official synopsis for No Time To Die reveals that Bond goes to Jamaica to retire.
It reads: “James Bond has left active service when his friend Felix Leiter enlists his help in the search for a missing scientist.”
