Chelsee Healey weight loss: How the actress lost two stone & got her pre-baby body back

Chelsee Healey, 30, is a British actress from Salford. Since 2016, the 30-year-old has appeared in Hollyoaks as Goldie McQueen. She rose to o fame in Waterloo Road, playing Janeece Bryant in the programme from 2006 to 2012. Earlier this year, she appeared on E4’s Celebs Go Dating, in a bid to find love. Following the birth of her daughter Coco in 2017, Chelsee – who is now a size six – slimmed down by an impressive two stone. So how did she lose the weight?

Chelsee credited her weight loss to good genes, admitting she hasn’t stopped eating since the birth of her daughter – whom she shares with her ex partner Jack Malloy.

Speaking in an interview with The Sun, she said: “I’m lucky, I’ve snapped back. I haven’t stopped eating but I’ve just lost the two stone I gained.”

Although Chelsee hasn’t cut down on her portion sizes, she recently revealed she’d started eating healthier after becoming a mum.

Now, the 31-year-old drinks lots of green tea and water, which have both been proven to aid weight loss.

Taking to Instagram, she revealed:“After Coco arrived my appetite is nowhere near as big, I also eat much healthier and swear by green tea and litres of water everyday.”

“I’d say I’m the smallest I’ve ever been in my life but the most happiest and content I guess I’ve ever been, not because I’ve lost the weight but just appreciating myself and my body much more realising how amazing a woman’s body is.”

“Im no where near perfect, far from, still insecurities lie within but learnt to appreciate my body much more than ever after having my baby girl, so a healthier lifestyle and looking after myself and body more so than ever.” (sic)

The One Show presenter Alex Jones recently welcomed her second child.

Following the birth of her first child Teddy, in January 2017, Alex was very candid about how it affected her body.

She told OK! in October of that year: “When I went back to work, my clothes didn’t fit. It was really hard trying on one thing after the other and nothing looking quite the same.

“Your bone structure and shape changes too and no amount of dieting will fix that.”

At the time she also told You magazine: “I don’t look the same as I did but I’m all right about that – life isn’t just about me any more.

“I don’t care if I’m a bit wobbly or look more tired, because it’s all part of the fun of being a parent; it’s a badge of honour.”

Last year May, the presenter, 42, opened up about her post baby weight loss.
