Strictly Come Dancing 2019: Shirley Ballas gives new judge Motsi Mabuse secret message?

Motsi Mabuse was recently revealed to be the latest addition to the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel after Dame Darcey Bussell stepped down earlier this year.

Now, according to reports Shirley Ballas has contacted Motsi ahead of the series launch, to offer her advice for when the show returns next month.

“Shirley knows first-hand how daunting it can be joining the show,” a source told The Mirror.

“She faced a lot of criticism when she replaced head judge Len Goodman.

“She was completely unprepared for the huge level of attention.

“She seemed overwhelmed for pretty much the whole of her first series and she doesn’t want Motsi to go through something similar.”

The source claimed Shirley reached out to the new addition to the team and told her: “I’ve got your back.”

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Shirley Ballas for comment.

Elsewhere, Motsi revealed she was “overjoyed” to join the Strictly judging panel.

The South African dancer commented.“I am absolutely overjoyed.

“I have so much respect and admiration for the other judges and hope to add my own bit of sparkle to the show.

“I can’t wait to get started,” she added.

Meanwhile Michelle Visage has revealed what could be her biggest hurdle when she takes to the dance floor.

Speaking on social media, Michelle spoke out on what could stop her from taking the GlitterBall trophy home.

Michelle tweeted: “THE CAT IS FINALLY OUT OF THE BAG!!! I’M DOING @bbcstrictly DREAM COME TRUE!

“I am honoured to be part of this legendary show in my fave place on earth!”

Fans of the star quickly commented on the post and flooded Michelle with questions about her upcoming appearance on the show.

One asked: “Do you have a favourite dance already?”

Michelle answered: “100 per cent THE PASO DOBLE.”

But then she revealed: “The Jive looks sooooooo hard.”

Will Michelle embrace all of the Strictly dances or will she fall at the first hurdle?
