Strictly Come Dancing 2018 winner Stacey Dooley, 32, has been filming in Norway as part of an investigation about the whaling industry.
But, the documentary maker admitted she struggled with motion sickness while filming at sea.
At first, Stacey shared a picture of her walking alongside a harbour, seeming happy to be on land.
She captioned snap: “L A A A A A N D,” followed by a Person Raising Hands emoji.
“Sea sickness is NO JOKE,” she added.
In view of her 729,000 followers, she then filmed herself alongside a colleague on a boat followed by a clip of the sea.
The BBC star followed up her post with a map, where she insisted her sea sickness had got worse.
Alongside an arrow pointing at the sea, she captioned the snap: “I think it was around here I was contemplating throwing myself in for the sharks.”
Stacey added a series of emojis to the caption including the nausea face emoji.
Earlier this week, Stacey said she was “trying not to throw up” during her European trip.
In response to a Twitter user who said she is “great,” she replied: “What a b****y love thing to say.
“Currently on a boat, trying not to throw up… sea sickness is NO JOKE.”
Elsewhere, while Stacey is working overseas, her boyfriend Kevin is currently in the UK focusing on this year’s Strictly.
Stacey Dooley broke her silence on her romance with Kevin earlier this month, after her ex-boyfriend Sam Tucknott revealed they were dating.
Addressing the ongoing speculation, she told The Guardian: ”Kev and I have agreed not to go into too much detail about our private lives because you can’t really indulge that and then ask for privacy.
“That’s why we’ve turned down interviews that have offered us tens of thousands of pounds.”
She went on: “What I am happy to say is Kev’s amazing, I’m happy, life happens, I’ve got an amazing career and I’m very lucky.”
Stacey’s ex previously said she and Kevin are dating after he addressed his split from Stacey in April.
The pair were together for five years after first meeting at a gym.
Elsewhere, Kevin split from his third wife Karen Clifton last year after three years of marriage.
She briefly shared her thoughts on Kevin’s new relationship with Stacey in a recent interview, insisting he seems “happy”.
