Lucy Alexander, 48, revealed she has been “very busy” recently trying to secure a property by the beach in order to be closer to her parents. The former Homes Under The Hammer presenter shared her progress with fans on Instagram as she enjoyed a weekend in Whitstable. Lucy posted a photo of herself in the seaside town in view of her 39,000 followers on the social media platform alongside an exciting update. The property expert was pictured standing in front of a beautiful baby blue painted door.

She wore her blonde tresses loose around her shoulders and opted for a vibrant ensemble including an elegant multi-coloured skirt and a blue denim jacket.

Lucy accessorised with a pink handbag and wore oversized shades to protect her eyes from the summer sun.

Opening up about the house she was posing in front of, the TV personality added the caption: “I’ve been v busy recently spending time looking to buy a little weekender by the sea in #whistable as I want to spend more time with mum & dad.”(sic)

The star then revealed she had placed an offer on a beach house in the area and it had been accepted.

She continued: “My offer got accepted this week so not long now before I start the renovation process.”

The presenter followed up her post with a celebratory snap on her Instagram story.

The Customer Is Always Right host smiled while clutching a glass of wine as she wrote across the image: “Celebrating this week my offer has been accepted #beachhouse.”

Elsewhere, Lucy Alexander took to Twitter to question her pal Eamonn Holmes, 59, as he spilled details about meeting Hollywood actor John Travolta, 65.

The conversation between the presenters started when Lucy revealed the Pulp Fiction star would be her dream dinner party guest on the micro-blogging site.

She wrote: “Today round the dinner table we all talked about our fave dinner party guests, both my kids said they would want the whole cast of ‘Friends’. I said John Travolta.”

The This Morning host spotted Lucy’s admission and wrote back: “Not me…I’ve met JT. A very engaging person. Very pleasant and friendly.”

Stunned by the revelation, Lucy exclaimed: “Whaaat? How do I not know this JT story? (don’t mean John Terry or Justin Timberlake…) although either of those quite fun I imagine.”(sic)
