Tami Roman is done with the Basketball Wives franchise and she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation on why she unfollowed longtime friend and BBW head huncho, Shaunie O’Neal. The newlywed let a social media user know just that in one of her latest tweets.
After a Twitter user noticed that Roman was no longer following Shaunie, they tweeted that they hope Tami wasn’t getting a ‘big head’ because she owes her fame to Shaq’s ex who is the executive producer to the show that made Tami a household name.
Another user chimed in to call her a ‘mess’ who shouldn’t forget who gave her the opportunities that she has received.
After catching wind of what was being said, the wife of Reggie Youngblood simply responded: ‘Please don’t @ me in these kind of negative conversations. I’m definitely not interested.’
This comes after the reality star said that she would be permanently leaving the VH1 show earlier this year.
‘The final season for me, season 8, but I’m sure they will get another season, and you’ll be able to see all the ladies. I’ve been doing this [the show] since 2010, and it’s just run its course for me in particular. It takes a lot of time to film Basketball Wives, we’re in that thing for six to seven months at a time, so I just wanted to have the opportunity to have some free time to do some other things.’
The majority of fans agreed that she was making the right move.
Between her Bonnet Chronicles, health issues, and new marriage — Tami is one busy woman.

However, that still doesn’t explain why she decided to unfollow Shaunie. The two don’t appear to have any bad blood so far on the current season of Basketball Wives — but there are still more episodes that will air that may offer an explanation.
