Angelina Jolie Reveals How Her Sons Respect Their Sisters And How Proud She Is Of Them

The actress wrote an essay for ELLE magazine and she used this opportunity to give the public a look into her family’s dynamics, more precisely, how her sons respect their sisters. Angelina Jolie also argued that the world needs more ‘wicked women.’

While discussing her journey as a woman and mom, Jolie mentioned that she ‘could not be any prouder of [her] sons for the men they are becoming, the way they respect their sisters and are respected by them.’

And that was not all! In the essay, Jolie goes on to recall some memorable trips to third-world countries since she has been doing that for a reallt long time with the goal of working with refugees.

Jolie mentioned, therefore, a Syrian man that she met, whose wife had been shot in the spine and paralyzed as a result.

‘They were living in a refugee camp, with no possessions and nowhere to go, but I don’t think that I’ve ever seen a more loving couple or devoted husband,’ she wrote.

Of course, she related this memory back to the boys in her family and the way that they treat their sisters, which is, like equals and with respect, of course.

‘I often tell my daughters that the most important thing that they can do is to just develop their minds. You can put on a pretty dress at any time, but it does not matter what you wear if your mind is not strong. There’s nothing more attractive — you might even say enchanting — than a woman with an independent will and her own opinions,’ Jolie argues in the essay.

That is without a doubt some great advice any young girl out there can learn from!
