Football thugs clash in disgusting London tube scenes ahead of Liverpool vs Man City

The two sides are competing for the Community Shield this afternoon in a glorified pre-season friendly.

Though it wasn’t so friendly between fans before the match with violent clashes on an underground train.

In disgusting scenes a number of people are shown throwing punches and grabbing each other in front of stunned onlookers.

One man, not involved in the fighting, can be seen in a Liverpool shirt though no colours are being worn by any of the other thugs.

The fighting goes on for well over a minute with plenty of punches thrown by both sides.

On the pitch at Wembley, City took the lead through Raheem Sterling, who then hit the post in the second half.

Pep Guardiola still wasn’t happy though, earning a booking for remonstrating with the referee.

Guardiola had teased Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool ahead of the match after guiding his City team to the title last season.

Man City finished one point ahead of Liverpool, who did taste success in Europe.

But Guardiola believes Liverpool would rather have ended the club’s 29-year wait for a title, which now stretches into a 30th year.

He said: “I’m pretty sure Liverpool would have liked to win the last Premier League.

“After 30 years not winning the Premier League, they would like to win the Premier League.

“It is incredibly good what they have done in the Champions League but I think winning the Premier League is really good.

“They were just one point behind but we were better by one point.

“Both teams were fantastic last season. Why do you have to say this team is better than the other one? Both were good.”
