According to a report from People.com, Eric Dane is fine with his past. Speaking with reporters from Glamour, the 46-year-old Euphoria alum discussed his 2009 tape in which he was sitting in a bathtub with his now-estranged spouse, Rebecca Gayheart, as well as the former Miss United States Teen, Kari Ann Peniche.
Speaking with People Magazine in 2014, the star said he had “regrets” over it, but since then, his attitude toward the leaked videotape has changed. Dane said to reporters from Glamour that looking back on the incident now, he doesn’t consider it a “mistake,” because it was just three adults sitting in a tub.
Eric said he “wasn’t doing anything wrong.” In 2011, Dane checked himself into a rehabilitation facility for prescription painkillers, stating his comments were more likely in reference to what he was heard saying in the video.
Dane said to the outlet that there was no mistake made there, it was just three people in a bathtub. “It’s my life experience and I’m at peace with all of it,” the actor stated. The LAPD investigated where the leak came from and the couple subsequently sued Gawker Media, the media outlet who posted it online.
Eric and his wife sued them for $1,000,000 on account of copyright infringement. A report from New York Daily News in 2010 claims Eric and his former spouse were given an amount accruing to six-figures. In an interview from May, the 35-year-old, Paniche, is married with two kids now.
Last year in February, Gayheart, who is 47-years-old, filed for divorce from Mr. Dane stating irreconcilable differences as the cause. The couple has two daughters, Georgia Geraldine, and Billie Beatrice, who are 7 and 9-years-old respectively.
While at the LA premiere of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood last month, Gayheart said to reporters that she and Dane have figured out a way to co-parent their children “amicably.”

Rebecca went on to explain her relationship status with Dane, stating they are still married but separated. The actress said life is good for both of them because there are multiple exciting things going on.
