Full review of the Honor 10 Lite, a 199 pound smartphone launching in the UK at the start of 2019. Chris has been testing Honor’s latest budget mobile, to see if the specs, camera tech, performance, battery life and Huawei’s EMUI 9 software combine to make this a great affordable handset.
The Honor 10 Lite is even cheaper than last year’s Honor 8X, yet you still get some good-looking hardware. That disco finish is back from the original Honor 10, while the Lite model still sports a crisp Full HD+ display. And while the camera tech is simplified, you do have Huawei’s smart Night mode which produces great quality photos in low light. Not to mention the AI scene recognition.
But is this the best budget Honor phone you can buy in 2019? Personally we prefer the 8X, but the Honor 10 Lite is still a decent handset for the cost – we’d just recommend holding off until those little bugs and performance issues have been sorted in an update.
