Jamie Redknapp gushed about a famous friend as he shared snaps with his 1.1 million Instagram followers from New York City. The former footballer looked to be having a great time during a trip to the US, before he admitted who “completes” him. The 46-year-old ex of Louise Redknapp was seen alongside comedian and A League of Their Own co-star Jack Whitehall, 31. In an upload of the pair of them they were seen sat on a sun-drenched terrace, as they both looked at something out of shot.
Both keeping their sunglasses firmly on, Jamie teamed a grey T-shirt with matching shorts while Jack opted for beige trousers and a black Tee.
“Two men. 3 scoops of ice cream. 1 spoon. He completes me. Written by @jackwhitehall…” the father-of-two captioned it light-heartedly.
Famed trainer Erika Hammond was one of the first to comment, writing: “Ahem, that looks a lot like NYC…”
While TV personality Hacker T Dog quipped: “I could have been the third spoon!”
The shot was also liked by Susanna Reid, Jodie Comer and fellow sports man Frank Lampard.
Jack also shared a similar picture but this time the duo were also joined by Keith Ewell, while the Brooklyn Bridge could be seen in the background.
“3 confident, young(ish) men. Only one who is comfortable wearing shorts,” the funny man joked.
Jamie went on to share an embarrassing clip of Jack as he attempted to pay for his food and beverages.
“You getting it Jack?” he could be heard asking him. “You getting this?” as the TV star said he was.
But he was soon left beckoning Jamie over after his card was declined. “Shock!! Declined credit card @jackwhitehall,” he added.
“@jackwhitehall sulking because he paid for lunch. @keithewell great to meet you mate,” he later added.
The pair are no strangers to winding each other up on social media, and just hours before it was the Bad Education actor’s turn.
He posted: “Wow this age filter app is brutal. Apparently this is what I’ll look like when I’m 60… Hope not.”
However, it was in fact an up-to-date photo of Jamie and comes as many celebrities have tried the new ageing app.
“Hahaha you could be a comedian!! And you wish,” the sports man replied back.
He appeared to be having a great time while away and shared another clip of his current surroundings today.
“Played. But the backdrop and course made up for it,” he stated, from the Liberty National Golf Course in New Jersey.
