Holly Willoughby, 38, rarely shares photos of her family on the social media site but recently took an opportunity to gush over her dad, Brian Willoughby, on his birthday. The This Morning presenter uploaded a snap of the father and daughter duo in view of her 5.7 million Instagram followers. She captioned the sweet selfie: “Spent yesterday celebrating this ones birthday…Happy birthday Daddy!!!!! Love you so so much… you are THE BEST!” Fans rushed to comment on the post, with many noticing the resemblance between him and Hollywood actor William Shatner.
One person quipped: “Goodness he looks like William Shatner!”

While a third person added: “He’s got a look of Captain Kirk about him,” in reference to the actor’s iconic character in the television series of Star Trek.
This is not the first time Holly has shared a snap with her dad after she recently uploaded a rare throwback from her wedding day.

Meanwhile, the ITV favourite recently announced her break from This Morning over the summer.
She shared a snap of her outfit to mark her final day on the show where she sported a gorgeous floral ensemble.
The halterneck design showed off her small frame as she teamed her look with open-toe heel sandals.
The beauty wore her blonde tresses in loose waves as they hung on her shoulders as she beamed at the camera.

Meanwhile, her co-presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will be stepping in for the seven-week summer run.
Ruth’s return comes after she recently took a break from her hosting duties following the death of her sister Julia.
