Samsung 4K TV sale as Sony deals also cut the price of owning a new televsion

Telly addicts have just one day left to grab big discounts on Samsung and Sony televisions.

TVs from both technology firms have been cut in price with some deals offering over £300 off their recommended cost.

These deals come courtesy of Amazon Prime Day which has seen thousands of products slashed to new lows including the Alexa-powered Echo speakers.

If it’s a TV you after then there’s plenty of shapes and sizes to choose from including the latest 4K HDR models.

t’s worth remembering that to take advantage you must have a Prime account.

This usually costs £79 for the year but Amazon is giving away a 30-day free trial to new customers.

This means you can sign up, take advantage of the sale, then cancel before you start being charged a fee.

If you think you might want to take full advantage of a Prime account then there is another good option with Amazon currently offering a discount on this subscription.

Right now you can get a year of Prime for just £59 – saving £20.

“Get ready, as we pull back the curtain to reveal exclusive products, special performances and two full days of phenomenal deals this Prime Day,” said Jeff Wilke, Amazon CEO Worldwide Consumer.

“Our vision is that Prime Day should be the absolute best time to be a member – when you can enjoy shopping, savings, entertainment and some of the best deals Prime members have ever seen.

“Stay tuned as we reveal thousands of new product launches, as well as world-class entertainment and more, leading up to Prime Day on July 15 and 16.”
