EastEnders has seen a lot of characters come and go but it seems there’s one huge character who is about to depart.
According to reports, Kim Fox (played by Tameka Empson) is set for a swift exit from Albert Square.
Next week on the BBC soap, she is set to tell her sister, Denise Fox (Diane Parish), how she wants to move away.
They’ve been at loggerheads for months and it seems a fresh start is just what the doctor ordered.
However, Kim is undeniably a huge force on Albert Square and will be sorely missed.

Thankfully they are able to put their differences aside before she exits.
What’s more, the door has well and truly been left open for Kim’s return in the future.
Tameka has played fiery Kim for a whopping 10 years and has been a regular comedic force in the soap.
She recently had quite a big storyline when she was involved with Vincent Hubbard’s (Richard Blackwood) disappearance.

While heavily pregnant with his baby, the troubled resident got involved in some gang crimes he shouldn’t have and as a result, was removed from the Square.
His whereabouts is currently a mystery, but perhaps Kim could return with her man in tow in the future.
EastEnders confirmed to Radio Times, Tameka would be taking a break but wouldn’t say for how long for.
Meanwhile, it’s going to be a dramatic week for Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) as a blast from the past returns.
Finally, Lisa Fowler (Lucy Benjamin) will make her back to the square right when her daughter is struggling with her pregnancy.
Louise finds herself getting mocked by her friends at school because she is with child.
Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) tries to find out what’s going on and she decides to take her out for the day.
They go to see Lisa who urges Louise to tell Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) the truth about her baby.
But will Louise find the courage to do the right thing?
EastEnders continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
