WWE RAW: What's next for Bray Wyatt after terrifying return following Extreme Rules?

WWE EXTREME RULES RESULTS

Wyatt adopted a new character after WrestleMania 35 as he ditched his old gimmick of a dark cult leader for that of an eerie kids’ show host who turns into a demonic creature he dubbed The Fiend.

The Eater of Worlds shared a series of promotional vignettes showing him hosting the disturbing Firefly Fun House show with creepy puppets and brainwashed children which set up a very macabre setting.

Once the series of promos were completed many expected the ex-WWE Champion to soon make his return to the squared circle.

And the former NXT superstar made his presence felt on RAW at the NYCB Live in New York one night after Extreme Rules.

The 32-year-old grappler’s first target was Balor who lost an intense match to Samoa Joe almost 24 hours after losing the Intercontinental Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura.

Following his loss the lights went off in the Uniondale arena and once they turned back on The Extraordinary Man was found in the clutches of Wyatt who showed up as The Fiend.

The ex-SmackDown Tag Team Champion delivered a vicious Sister Abigail to the Irishman in front of a shocked crowd.

Then the lights went off again while his eerie theme music started echoing around the arena.

It seems like Wyatt will be booked as a dominant force in WWE that will terrorise both RAW and SmackDown in the near future.

The ex-Wyatt Family leader could also be pencilled down for a match against Balor at SummerSlam on August 11 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Balor requested some time off from WWE to recharge.

However, the ex-Universal Champion’s break won’t start until August which means that he could still be part of the biggest Pay-Per-View event of the summer.

Therefore, a match with Wyatt would make sense after falling victim to that devastating attack.

It has also been claimed that the ex-Intercontinental Champion will be off WWE TV for two months.
