iPhone and iPad price crash as huge Apple savings unveiled in major sale event

It’s rare to see Apple devices getting a discount but fans of this brand can currently get some good offers on the iPhone and iPad.

The big money-saving deals are courtesy of Amazon with the online retailer’s Prime Day Sale now in full swing.

There’s a huge swathe of Apple deals available as part of this major event including offers on the iPhone XS Max, iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPad Pro.

Some of the discounts reduce prices by as much as £150.

Along with these Apple offers, Amazon has also slashed the price on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, A8 and J5.

You’ll also find discounts on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and OnePlus 6 plus there’s a huge cut to the whole range of Echo smart speakers.

It’s worth remembering that to take advantage you must have a Prime account.

This usually costs £79 for the year but Amazon is giving away a 30-day free trial to new customers.

This means you can sign up, take advantage of the sale, then cancel before you start being charged a fee.

If you think you might want to take full advantage of a Prime account then there is another good option with Amazon currently offering a discount on this subscription.

Right now you can get a year of Prime for just £59 – saving £20.
