That’s clearly great for fans of this smart speaker but Google is fighting back with its own cost-reducing deals.
The Google Home and smaller Google Home Mini have both been dropped in price with things currently starting from under £25.
In fact, you can now plug the Mini version into your living room for just £24 and the even the flagship Google Home will only cost you £59.
Along with these deals, there’s also some very tempting price cuts on smart bundles which include a Google Home speaker and Phillips Hue Starter Kit.
This will allow you to control the lighting in the home via simple voice search.
The clever Hue system is also fully customisable with users able to set the lights to switch on or off at specific times or change to any colour in the rainbow.
Currys is currently selling this package for just £69.99 which saves over £100 off the usual cost.
Along with these smart speaker offers, Google has also reduced prices on its smartphone range.
These cuts mean you can take delivery of the flagship Pixel 3 for just £549 – saving £200 – or order the Pixel 3a for £349 – saving £50.
The Pixel 3a was released just a few months ago and brings Google fans a smartphone at a much cheaper price.
This device offers a powerful processor, good 5.6-inch display and you’ll even get the same award-winning camera found on the Pixel 3.
In our recent review, express.co.uk said: “The Google Pixel 3a has set a new standard for budget smartphones and the American tech powerhouse should be heavily praised for such an accomplishment.
“The phone makes expected compromises but, unlike its competitors, delivers them in all the right areas.
“The Google Pixel 3a is stupendous and should be the go-to for anyone shopping for a smartphone on a budget.”
