Francesca, 23, had her eyes on a newly single Curtis, 23, from the word go, even though Maura, 28, had voiced her interest in the ballroom dancer after his heartbreaking split from Amy Hart, 27, on Love Island this week.
Last night’s recoupling saw Francesca given free rein over which boy she wanted to couple up with and in choosing Curtis, she found herself a love rival of Maura’s.
Not letting an islander stand in her way of true love, Maura will set about trying to entice Curtis further towards her in tonight’s instalment of the ITV reality show.
After the night’s events, Curtis will tell Maura he is still interested in getting to know her, as well as Francesca and also opens up to his fellow islanders about his dilemma.
“I don’t want to rush it but I know I need to get a move on because I’ll push them both away,” Curtis tells Tommy Fury, 20, and Molly-Mae Hague the day after the recoupling.
“I wish one of them was horrible, it would make the decision so much easier!” the ballroom dancer opines but is soon seen giving a topless Maura a back massage.
Francesca won’t be too happy as she watches on and later in the evening, decides to confront Curtis about his actions, despite them being in a couple.
“I did find it a little disrespectful,” Francesca tells Curtis, adding: “I find that quite full on.”
Maura will be listening in to the conversation and won’t be too happy the direction it seems to be going between the pair.

Also on tonight’s episode, Francesca’s fellow newcomer Chris Taylor, 28, will continue to pursue Amber Gill, 21, as she is coupled up with Ovie Soko, 28, purely on a friendship basis.
Amber has voiced she still has feelings for Michael Griffiths, 27, although he is coupled up with Joanna Chimonides, 22.
Chris has tried to get to know Amber, but the heartbroken islander has been reluctant to reciprocate his attempts to woo her.
However, tonight’s episode will see the pair bond over a shared passion.
Chris tells Amber: “I’d like to know if there is any opportunity at all,” to which she replies: “I had something really good with Michael. I can’t switch those feelings off.”
The business development manager says: “There are a lot of things I really like about you. But I think we are quite different people.”
“You’re a cool cat. And I’m into ‘Harry Potter’…” he goes on to say, before Amber interrupts him, revealing a fantasy passion of her own.
“Before you make assumptions, I actually once went to the cinema to watch all three ‘Lord of the Rings’ films back-to-back for nine hours, because ‘The Hobbit’ was coming out.”
Surprised, Chris replies: “I didn’t know that about you. We might have a lot more in common than we thought.”
Could romance once again be on the cards for Amber?
Elsewhere, things could turn sour for Anton Danyluk, 24, and Belle Hassan, 21, when the Scottish islander seemingly betrays his partner whilst out the villa tonight.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
