Joe Sugg, 27, revealed he had been away for a stag do as he informed his 5.6 million Instagram followers about what state the partying had left him in. Uploading a clip of himself relaxing at home, he reclined against a fluffy pillow, dressed in a comfy hoodie. The Strictly Come Dancing star, who is in a relationship with professional dancer Dianne Buswell, 30, looked tired, zooming in on the wry expression on his face. “I survived the stag do,” the social media favourite captioned the video.
Poking fun at himself, Joe played Destiny’s Child’s hit single Survivor in the background of the clip.
He didn’t say which one of his friends he had been celebrating, but the YouTuber recently took to Twitter to respond to a fan who got in touch after bumping into him with his pals in Portugal.
The Twitter user apologised to Joe for “disturbing” him with his mates, adding: “if if was you, othetwise i looked pretty stupid in fron of a lookalike.”(sic)
Clearly seeing the funny side, the Strictly finalist replied: “No problem at all.
“Get some water on board with a Berocca otherwise tomorrow is going to be a write off for you…” he laughed.
The exchange occurred in the middle of the night, which may mean Joe and his friends were still up partying into the early hours.
Joe and Dianne have been dating since last year, having confirmed their relationship days after the Strictly final in December.
Speculation had been rife about the nature of their partnership, but it wasn’t until after the series ended that they went public with their romance.
Last month, Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell announced big news when they revealed they would be heading on tour together.
The pair said they were “so excited” to dance together again, with the vlogger sharing a promotional picture for their 2020 tour on Instagram.
The poster said the show would include: “Music, comedy… and a little bit of dance.”
“SO please and excited that we can FINALLY reveal #projectJoanne,” he wrote in the caption. “The Joe & Dianne Show will be touring about the UK MARCH & APRIL 2020!
“So excited to be on stage with @diannebuswell again and performing for as many of you as possible,” he added.
The couple’s Strictly pals rushed to congratulate them with Amy Dowden, 27, commenting: “Going to be amazing!!!! Can’t wait to come and watch!!!”
“Congratulations guys, wish you the best of luck,” Oti Mabuse, 28, chipped in, while Katya Jones, 30, added: “That’s gonna be so good!”
In the meantime, Dianne is confirmed to be returning to the professional line-up on Strictly for the 2019 series.
