Stacey Dooley, 32, will be returning to screens as the host of BBC Three’s second season of Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-up Star, the star has announced. The Strictly Come Dancing champion will join series judges Val Garland and Dominic Skinner as aspiring make-up artists compete to showcase their skills with the winner given the opportunity to do the make-up for some of the world’s biggest stars. In view of her 728,000 followers, Stacey uploaded a clip saying: “Oh Hi… Glow Up has been recommissioned. We’re coming back for a second series. “I’m delighted. I had such a great time, genuinely with Dom and Val.”
“I became obsessed with Val Garland and now we wear the same perfume. Dom’s an angel. It’s going to be ace.”
The documentary filmmaker teased the details of the upcoming series, as she continued: “I’ve got an idea of who they want for guest judges.
“And I’ve got an idea of some of the tasks. That’s also really great.”
The journalist added: “Nice of me to put some makeup on while I do this message wasn’t it.”

The previous series saw 10 contestants live and work together while competing to win a contract assisting the top make-up artists in the industry.
Drag Queen makeup artist Ellis Hill was crowned the winner in the last season of the show.
Following Stacey’s announcement, the journalist later shared a snap of herself lounging in her new flat as she sipped on some tea.
In front of the floor-length mirror, she took a selfie sporting a sweatshirt and matching trousers.
She captioned the photo: “When you’re the host of a very, very glam makeup show it’s important to keep up appearances.”
Meanwhile, the Strictly winner recently gave insight into her new living space as she gave fans a glimpse of her new living quarters.
The documentary-filmmaker has now found new dwellings but admitted they remain a bit “sparse” as she shared snaps of her monochrome-styled kitchen and lightly decorated living room.
