Louise Redknapp, 44, whose divorce from Jamie Redknapp, 46, was finalised in 2017, admitted she would “definitely be up” for joining the X Factor judging panel.
The former Enternal band member even asked for Simon Cowell “to make it happen”.
Speaking to the Mirror, she said: “I love the X Factor, I think it’s brilliant, I would definitely be up for being a judge on it.
“For sure. If Simon can make it happen that would be great.”
However, even though the X Factor is returning as a new celebrity version, Louise ruled herself out of competing.
“I don’t think that would be the right thing for me at this point in my career,” she said.
“But judging is a different idea entirely. That could work well.”
Louise released her third single from her upcoming album, Heavy Love, on Thursday.
Teasing the new song, the mother-of-two uploaded a sizzling snap of herself to promote the track.
Louise put her slender pins on display as she only wore a nude jumpsuit along with a cream blazer.
Posing on a pink armchair, the beauty gave a sensational glimpse of her well-defined pins, which were elongated in a pair of high-heels.
The hit-maker completed her look by wearing her hair in a wavy style as well as contoured make-up.
Louise captioned the stunning shot: “Guys I’m so excited to let you all know that my new song ‘Lead Me On’ produced by @CleanBandit will have it’s world premiere on Ken Bruce’s @BBCRadio2 show tomorrow between 11am and 11.30am then available to download and stream after 11.30am.
“Lead Me On is taken from my new album. ‘Heavy Love’ which is available to pre-order now (link in bio).”
Earlier in the week, Louise shared a teaser of the lyrics which feature on the new single.
Unsurprisingly, Many of Louise’s 637,000 followers commented on her post to praise the song.
One person gushed: “It’s brilliant!! Can’t wait to hear these songs live.”
Another said: “Got it preordered! I can’t wait for this album! So excited!”
In the lyrics, the mother-of-two spoke about being treated “unkindly” and asked whether it was just for “show”.
It read: “Oh, I wanna know what makes you feel like you’re allowed to treat me unkindly, is it just for show why are you hiding all of your true feelings, why’d you… lead me on.”
