Lucy Verasamy, 38, took to the picture-sharing site as she basked in the sunshine sporting a pair of dark sunglasses with her signature brunette tresses blowing in the wind. The ITV weather star beamed for the selfie, as she wore a floral dress and a denim jacket. In view of her 106,000 Instagram followers, she captioned the post: “The windswept Isle of Wight last week: the start of summer.” Many fans of the weather forecaster were quick to quiz the star on why she has been “missing” from their television screens.
One person quizzed: “Where are you Lucy, got another job?”
Another person asked: “Not seen you on the TV lately. Hope that your back soon.”
While a third person said: “Hi Lucy you are looking as beautiful as ever missing you on tv weather.”
The ITV forecaster reassured her fans she will be back on their screens, as she replied: “Back soon.”
Others were also quick to compliment the star on her photo, as one person commented: “Love the specs.”
Another person said: “Stunningly beautiful,” while another person added: “Looking absolutely beautiful.”
Lucy did not give details of what she had been up to earlier this week but appeared to be enjoying a short break in the sunshine.
Meanwhile, in her latest forecast, Lucy accidentally flashed her bra.
The beauty wore a a sheer white blouse with an embellished collar as she predicted warm sunshine for the rest of the week.
But she also gave viewers a glimpse of her bra in the thin shirt.
She paired her look with a figure hugging skirt, showcasing her toned physique.
In the forecast, she said: “Settling into a new weekend and a new month, mostly fine dry conditions.
“And with that homegrown strong July sunshine the temperatures rising as the week wears on.
“Temperatures will continue to rise as we go further into the week.”
She finished: “Things are looking better and better. Enjoy.”
