“Rouhani says that they will Enrich Uranium to ‘any amount we want’ if there is no new Nuclear Deal.

“Be careful with the threats, Iran.

Iran has boasted of its ability to raise its uranium enrichment programme following the country’s announcement that it would discontinue its obligation under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Speaking of the country’s progression in military strength, Major General Hossein Salami, who heads up the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Major General Hossein Salami praised his country’s armed forces.

He said: “In the military sphere, we have completely closed the path for the enemy.

“In the current situation it is the enemies who are worried about the outbreak of war and this worry is apparent in their physical and tactical behaviour.”

Before Mr Salami’s comments, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced that the state would increase its uranium enrichment programme again on Sunday.

Rouhani said: “After July 7 we will enrich uranium to whatever levels we need.”

Despite the aggressive rhetoric emanating from both camps, Iranian politician Ali Larijani insisted that the country “did not seek to gain nuclear weapons”.

Mr Larijani also insisted that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has banned the use of nuclear weapons despite Trump’s accusations against the Republic.
