San Francisco shooting: Multiple injuries as police put area in lockdown after shooting

As of yet, it is unclear how many casualties there have been from the attack. Reports have stated that the shooting took place in a mall in San Bruno. The attack has led to a massive police response which has closed the local BART train station.

Following the attack, San Bruno Police released a statement stating: “Please stay out of the Tanforan area – San Bruno Police Department is on scene investigating a shooting.

“We will update when we have more information.”

A witness told local CBS News that they had heard several shots.

They also added that they had allegedly seen two gunshot victims on the second floor.

Local police have not confirmed this information.

Confirming the closure of the BART station, the transit agency said: “As a precaution, trains are not stopping and the station is closed.

“Trains are running through San Bruno.”

After initial reports were unclear as to the number of casualties, San Francisco General Hospital has confirmed they have two patients from the shooting.

The conditions of the patients are unknown.

Moreover, they have been put on alert over the potential to receive more.

Furthermore, it is unclear whether all the shooters have been arrested.
