09.00 UPDATE: Aribo on Gerrard
Joe Aribo reveals why he has joined Rangers over a number of other options – including Celtic.
“It’s a dream come true to play for a club the size of Rangers,” he said after arriving at the Rangers pre-season training camp.
“I chose Rangers because of the size of the club. But also because of the manager.
“I had a chat with him and he persuaded me. He said this was the best place for me and I trusted him.”
08.20 UPDATE: Zaha could go to PSG
Wilfried Zaha could be heading to PSG this summer – and he already speaks French, John Salako has revealed.
The Crystal Palace winger has been linked with a move away from the club and Salakp reckons the time could be right to move on.
“Maybe a Paris Saint-German, or Dortmund, maybe one of the big boys in Germany,” he told Love Sport radio.
“That’s a question for Wilf, if he wants to go and play Champions League football, he wants to play in a big club, he wants to maybe go and experience living in a big European city, experiencing that. You know he speaks French.
“He’s matured now, he’s grown up, his game is absolutely bang where he wants it to be. I think he’s open and receptive to grow.”
07.50 UPDATE: Liverpool agree deal
Liverpool have agreed to sell Rafa Camacho to Sporting Lisbon for £5m.
The midfielder rejected a new deal at Anfield and club chiefs have agreed to sell him.
Camacho was keen for more game time and pushed for a move away from the club.
Liverpool have already signed a Dutch youngster to add to their defence but are unlikely to bring in many more players this summer.
07.30 UPDATE: Aaron Wan-Bissaka to complete move
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has completed his Manchester United medical and will be confirmed as their second summer signing today.
United and Palace finally agreed on a £50m earlier this week and Wan-Bissaka travelled up to Manchester yesterday.
He went through the medical procedure and will be unveiled as a United player today.
Wan-Bissaka’s move will be the biggest transfer of the summer so far.
07.15 UPDATE new Man Utd target
Manchester United have turned their attention to Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti having given up on Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire.
United need new defenders and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to add an established presence in his back line.
And Mundo Deportivo report that United are in for Barca ace Umtiti.
Umtiti has struggled with injuries over the years but would be a world class addition to United’s squad.
07.00 UPDATE: Tierney to Arsenal
Arsenal have been warned Kieran Tierney will ‘cost a lot’ of money as they try and seal a deal for the left-back.
Tierney is now Arsenal’s main transfer target as they look to improve their defence.
Arsenal have had a bid of £15m thrown out and are likely to have to pay upwards of £25m.
“Arsenal are aware of what we value the player at,” said Lennon. “He is on a long-term contract, he is an asset and we don’t want to sell him. It is going to take a lot more than what they have offered the first time around to give us a decision to make.”
