Galaxy Note 10 could borrow this feature from the Huawei P30 Pro

Galaxy Note 10 is the expected name for Samsung’s next phablet that has been rumoured to make a number of substantial alterations to the flagship series.

Unlike other Note models before it, the Note 10 has been tipped to arrive in more than one variety.

In fact, South Korean outlet ETNews has suggested the device could release in a total of four flavours.

Two models have been stated to come with a 6.3-inch display while the others are anticipated to boast a huge 6.75-inch panel.

Each sized variant has been claimed to come in a 5G option, as well as one limited to 4G network speeds.

Alleged renders of the Note 10 recently surfaced courtesy of reliable leaker OnLeaks and Pricebaba; the handset was exhibited with a huge display surrounded by incredibly tiny bezels.

A cutout for a single front-facing camera was positioned at the top of the device in the middle.

If accurate, this would be unlike Samsung’s S10 series of handsets that each flaunt their respective hole punches off to the side.

The larger of the two Note 10 models, rumoured to be called the Note 10 Pro, was showcased with four cameras on its rear.

The quad array was stated to be comprised of a primary, telephoto, ultra wide-angle and a time-of-flight (TOF) sensor.

Samsung’s smaller Note 10 option was stated to come with three lenses on its rear thanks to its omission of a TOF camera.

Renowned tipster Ice Universe recently took to Twitter to showcase a claimed screen protector for the Note 10.

The product appeared to add further credence to the renders from OnLeaks and Pricebaba thanks to the huge similarities in design.

As pointed out by Ice Universe, there appeared to be no room for a physical speaker at the top of the Note 10.

Instead, the leaker said it is likely the device will harness what he called “Sound on Display” technology that would use vibrations to transmit sound through the phone’s display.

Such technology is already employed by the Huawei P30 Pro that was unveiled back in March.

At the time the Chinese OEM was eager to discuss the benefits of using such a system – chief of these being the fact less sound is likely to bleed from the device.

This means less noise should be heard by others around a user when they are making a phone call.

While the new rumour surrounding the Note 10 suggests it could borrow a feature from the P30 Pro, it is worth noting this has not been officially confirmed.
