Respawn Entertainment has confirmed issues with Apex Legends servers tonight as affecting one major platform.
A new post reveals the extent of the issues, with many players seeing Apex Legends servers shutting down on Xbox One.
“You will find X1 servers are down, near 100%. No immediate ETA; if our social team doesn’t provide an update, I’ll keep posting here,” the latest dev message reads.
“You will see some recovery now. I can’t promise 100% speed on matchmaking yet.”
It’s unclear what is causing the problems on the Xbox One servers tonight, or how long the problems might last.

Earlier issues did see Microsoft’s Xbox Live services go offline; however, that was a few hours ago.
If issues continue tonight, you can expect further updates from the Respawn and EA Support teams.
The good news is that reports of server problems have been dropping, meaning we could see a return to normal service very soon.
