Love Island 2019: Amber and Callum’s secret ‘romance’ EXPOSED as star drops bombshell

Amber, 21, failed to bond with Callum, 28, in the Love Island villa after they coupled up in the launch of the ITV reality show last week.

Viewers watched as Amber began flirting with newcomer Tommy Fury, 20, and Callum trying to strike up a romance with the likes of Yewande Biala, 23, and newcomer Molly-Mae Hague, 20.

Following the dumping on Friday, Callum joined host Caroline Flack, 39, to speak about his time in the villa on last night’s edition of Love Island: Aftersun.

Callum revealed if he’d have stayed in the villa, he and Amber could have eventually coupled up as they did actually get along.

Praising his fellow islander, Callum said of Amber: “Amber is an absolutely stunning girl, literally gorgeous and she is a lovely girl, but we’re completely opposite.

“By the end she was like my little princess, we did have a good relationship,” the dumped islander revealed, before he dropped the bombshell about a possible romance.

“I think if we had another week in there we would have really got on, cos we didn’t know each other at the start.”

Asked if “got on” meant something would have happened romantically, Callum said: “Yeah, get on I think,” before going on to add he did fancy scientist Yewande.

Admitting he would have either chosen Amy Hart, 27, or Anna Vakili, 28, if he’d had the power to choose who to recouple with, Callum explained: “But, on the last day, as I was getting to know her, Yewande.

“She came out in that little white dress and I was like ‘mmh,’ and she was such an interesting person.”

Callum continued: “She was very quiet but we had a really good friendship and then on the night of the recoupling, we were chatting and just having a drink and I was just thinking, ‘You’re so interesting.’

“It could have been a slow burner. We didn’t have that initial attraction for each other because we said that from the start but like I said, if we’d of had another week or two, definitely something could have happened.”

At the end of last night’s episode, Yewande was seen going on a date with newcomer Danny Williams, 21, with the islander hoping she could finally find love in the villa.

However, with Amber also seen going on a date with the new arrival, will Yewande be pushed to the side again?

It seems fans of the show are already backing the scientist to be the first girl dumped from the island, with bookmakers Coral placing Yewande’s odds at 5-4 to leave the villa.

Although he is currently in a love triangle with Tommy and Molly-Mae, it seems Anton could be the next boy eliminated, with his odds standing at 2-1 to leave.

Speaking of the odds, Coral spokesperson Harry Aitkenhead said: “Anton and Yewande are the hot favourites to be the next boy and girl to exit the Love Island villa and as things heat up you can guarantee they’ll be the pair sweating the most on their place on the show.”

It could be likely Anton will be making his exit as Tommy and Molly-Mae’s coupling is storming ahead in the latest odds.

With Curtis Pritchard, 23, and Amy leading the way as the winning couple at 11-8 on Coral’s odds table, Tommy and Molly-Mae’s pardoning stands at 14-1.

Will Tommy be heartbroken as Molly-Mae makes the shock decision to partner with Anton, or is the gym owner soon to be packing his bags?

Love Island 2019 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
