Durant’s absence was clearly felt in Game 1 of the NBA Finals as the Toronto Raptors took a 1-0 lead.
And the Raptors will be hoping to defend homecourt once more on Sunday in Game 2.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has called it a “long shot” for Durant to return in time to play in Game 2.
The 30-year-old hasn’t completed a full team practice yet having suffered a calf strain against the Houston Rockets four weeks ago.
DeMarcus Cousins made his return from injury in Game 1, but the Warriors will be hoping they can get Durant back at some point during this series.
