Britain’s Got Talent 2019: Mark McMullan victory sealed ahead of semi-final performance?

Mark left a lasting impression when he gave his first audition singing Bring Him Home, dedicating his performance to brother Declan who suffers from locked-in syndrome.

Tonight’s Britain Got Talent semi-final will see Mark perform, as well as Ben Hart, A&J, Kerr James, Graeme Matthews, Jimmy Tamley, Ursula Burns and Lil Icons take to the stage once more.

But it looks as though Mark is the one heading for victory on the ITV show as he is 4/5 to go through to the final, according to Coral bookmakers.

A spokesperson for the bookies said: “Mark is odds on to progress through tonight’s show and we expect him to be in Sunday’s final.

“According to the odds, Ben has the next best chance whilst A&J, Kerr and Graeme will all be hoping to spring a surprise.”

Magician Ben has the second-best odds with 2/1, but who will prove triumphant?

Each semi-final so far has seen two acts progress to Sunday’s finale.

Last night’s semi-final saw veteran Colin Thackery win the public vote and he sailed through to the final.

Now, Colin looks to be the one to beat in the competition as he’s stormed ahead as the favourite.

The Chelsea Pensioner has odds of 6/4, overtaking the former favourites Dave and Finn who went through on Monday’s live show who have odds of 4/1.

The spokesperson said: “Colin has surged right to the top of our betting after last night and all of a sudden he’s the clear favourite to win the show.

“He’s almost got one foot on the Royal Variety stage already and at 6-4 he’s the hot favourite for glory.”

Last night’s show also saw comedian Kojo Anim bag a place in the finale after the judges plumped for him over John Archer.

Mojo made it to the live shows after Simon Cowell gave him his Golden Buzzer, but the judge wasn’t appear he was performing yesterday.

As Ant and Dec spoke to the judges before the acts performed, Simon was shocked when they brought up Kojo.

He said: “I didn’t actually know that he was on tonight.”

Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer act, boyband Chapter 13 also took to the stage yesterday.

However, the youngsters didn’t manage to get any further in the competition.

David Walliams’ Golden Buzzer pick Flakefleet Primary School have also made it through.

Britain’s Got Talent continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
