Arsenal are eyeing AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with Manchester United also interested, it has been claimed.

The Gunners are said to be unconvinced by Bernd Leno and with Petr Cech retiring at the end of the season they are seeking a top quality shot stopper.

TMW claim Donnarumma is happy in Milan at present though but Mino Raiola could hatch a plan to move him on.

Reports last week claimed Manchester United were on alert as they look to sort out the future of David De Gea.

And Raiola could force Milan to sell Donnarumma to get him a big-money move.

That could lead to Arsenal and United battling for the signature of the 20-year-old.

Arsenal are considering a move for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.

Gomes, 25, dazzled during his season-long loan spell with Everton last season – forming a solid partnership with Idrissa Gueye under Marco Silva.

However, Catalan radio station RAC1 claim Arsenal are looking at the Portuguese international to replace Juventus-bound Aaron Ramsey.

Lewandowski would be a stunning addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side as he looks to overhaul a struggling squad after a disappointing season.

Transfermarket Web claim the Manchester United management are ‘dreaming’ of signing the 30—year-old.

Lewandowski is one of the most prolific frontmen on the planet and bagged 40 goals in 2018-19 as Bayern won the domestic double in Germany.

16:00 UPDATE: Liverpool step up Pepe interest

Liverpool are set to intensify their efforts to sign Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.

That’s according to France Football, who claim Jurgen Klopp is eager to bring the 23-year-old to Anfield this summer.

Pepe netted 23 goals and provided a further 12 assists in all competitions last season to help Lille secure Champions League football.

The report adds that Inter Milan have already submitted a £53million offer – and Lille are now awaiting offers from Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.

15:45 UPDATE: Thomas Meunier hijack

Unai Emery has told club chiefs that he wants to raid PSG for Thomas Meunier, stealing the Belgian from under the noses of Manchester United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly a fan of Meunier, and had planned to make a move for the out-of-favour defender this summer.

However, according to France Football, he will face stiff competition from Emery, who has spotted an opportunity to raid his former side.

Emery took over at PSG back in 2016, and one of his first pieces of business was signing Meunier from Club Brugge for £6.1million.

It is likely that if either Arsenal or United are to prise the Belgian away from Paris, they will have to pay upwards of £25m.

Mauricio Pochettino has been looking to bolster the number of options that he has in midfield has been impressed by scouting reports on his fellow countryman Lo Celso.

Betis are keen are keen to hang onto Lo Celso who scored 16 times in 45 appearances this season after struggling to make an impression at PSG.

But an offer in excess of double the £21 million that they paid in April to make Lo Celso’s loan a permanent deal could persuade them to do business.

Real Madrid have practically signed Manchester United star Paul Pogba, according to Eduardo Inda.

Real are determined to sign Manchester United star Pogba as they plot a rebuild following a dreadful La Liga campaign.

And Spanish pundit Inda, who was once head of Spanish newspaper Marca, says the player has agreed to take a pay cut.

“Pogba is practically done,” he said in reference to the United star and a Bernabeu move. “The first to appear will be Hazard and the next will be Pogba.

“He has agreed to lower his Manchester United salary: from £13m net per year to £10m.

“Adidas is pressing a lot because he is one of the two franchise players of the brand.”
