Making A TV Look Like A Giant Switch Is More Existential Than You'd Expect

The main appeal of the Switch is being able to take console-quality games anywhere, but something is lost when moving a game from your hands to the TV. YouTuber Chris Salomone has attempted to rectify this by making his own TV stand look like an actual Switch.

Note, Salomone hasn’t modified his television in any significant manner; the bulk of his time was spent crafting the Joy-Cons, which open up and function as cabinets. Salomone walks through every step in the process, listing the expected tools and measurements, but also his mental process, which is far more philosophical than one might expect from a woodworking video.
