PS Plus June 2019 FREE PS4 games reveal and Final Fantasy 7 LEAK

After a low-profile (albeit high quality) month for PS Plus freebies, subscribers are wondering what’s next for PlayStation Plus in June.

Fortunately there’s not long to wait, because Sony is about to reveal the free PS4 games for June.

The next batch of PlayStation Plus games will be revealed on Wednesday, May 29 at 4.30pm UK time.

There’s a good chance the games will leak ahead of time, so keep your eyes peeled for more information.

Rumour has it there may even be a special Final Fantasy 7 bonus launching around E3 2019.

The free PS4 games will be available to download and play less than a week later on June 4.

The next batch of freebies will replace the May 2019 selection of free PlayStation Plus games.

This includes co-op arcade title Overcooked and the excellent What Remains of Edith Finch.

“What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state,” reads the official game description.

“As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she’s the last one in her family left alive.

“Each story you find lets you experience the life of a new family member on the day of their death, with stories ranging from the distant past to the present day.”

Overcooked, on the other hand, sees players work together to cook and serve dishes before the timer runs out and in increasingly bizarre locations.

“Overcooked is a chaotic couch co-op cooking game for one to four players,” reads the official game description.

“Working as a team, you and your fellow chefs must prepare, cook and serve up a variety of tasty orders before the baying customers storm out in a huff. Sharpen your knives and dust off your chef’s whites, there isn’t mushroom for error and the steaks are high in these crazy kitchens!

“The Onion Kingdom is in danger and only the finest cooking can save it! In Overcooked players must journey through a variety of cruel and unusual kitchens on their quest to become master chefs capable of conquering an ancient edible evil which plagues the land.”

Find out the replacement games by tuning in on May 29.
