AJ Pritchard: Strictly star reveals his ‘happy place’ HIDDEN away from pros on tour

Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard, 24, filmed himself hiding away from his fellow dancers under a chair on the tour bus. Filming himself in the dark, he told his 358,000 followers: “Found my comfy place which is actually hidden under the seats on the table on the coach. “My happy place… found a comfy spot and now we’ve stopped.” The dancer then giggled as a team glanced at him trying to get out from under the seat.

Ahead of his Instagram story upload, AJ shared a picture of himself tucking into a yoghurt.

The dancer was seen relaxing on a coach wearing a bright orange hoodie while giving viewers a glimpse of his sweet treat.

He shared the picture with the caption: “At my HAPPIEST, post show food.”

Many of his fan’s social media fans flocked to his post to comment.

One user wrote: “Always smiling and eating AJ enjoy.”

A second commented: “You earned it! Fantastic show last night loved every second of it!”

A third penned “Always smiling and eating AJ enjoy.”

Today, AJ gave his fans an insight into his day at the seaside town ahead of tonight’s show.

The dancer filmed himself enjoying an ice cream and later captured himself dipping his feet in the sea.

AJ then giggled as he lamented about the “pain” he suffered running over the beach’s stones in bare feet.

Elsewhere, earlier this week, the dancer and his co-stars took to the stage in Portsmouth.

AJ’s former dance partner Lauren Steadman, 26, took to her Instagram to reveal she had met up with AJ, who she referred to as a “champ”.

In view of her 84,900 followers, the star uploaded a series of short clips which showcased the Strictly dancers performing their energetic routines.

“She captioned one video: “Eeek. Very excited to watch these guys tonight. @karencliftonofficial @aj11ace @mrskatjones @mrnjonesofficial @pashakovalev @gorkamarquez @pernicegiovanni @nadiyabychkova @diannebuswell @otimabuse.”

Lauren later shared a video of AJ speaking on the stage ahead of his performance, which she captioned “champ”.
