WWE news: Braun Strowman reveals ultimate goal after Money in the Bank axe – EXCLUSIVE

MONEY IN THE BANK RESULTS

Strowman was set to battle Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Ricochet, Ali, Andrade, Randy Orton and Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor at Money in the Bank in the annual Ladder Match.

However, The Monster Among Men lost his place to Sami Zayn after being defeated by him at The O2 in London during a Falls Count Anywhere Match that saw McIntyre and Corbin getting involved.

Now the ex-RAW Tag Team Champion is determined to shake off that loss and go after the Universal Championship.

Strowman told Express Sport: “I’m fighting tooth and nail to get back in that Universal title picture, it slipped a little bit off my grasp.

“So getting back on track and climbing back to the top of that mountain and finally taking what’s mine [is my goal].”

Zayn didn’t manage to compete at Money in the Bank and his place was taken by Brock Lesnar who added himself to the Men’s Ladder Match and won the briefcase.

Strowman claims he has unfinished business with Lesnar as they were supposed to compete for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble.

But first, the 35-year-old superstar is focused on getting some revenge from Zayn, McIntyre and Corbin on RAW.

He added: “Yeah, I have some animosity towards Brock and right now I have to take care of these parasites of the WWE that are just lingering around, leaching off whatever they can.

“So first I got three [foes] to take care of and Brock Lesnar can get these hands when he’s ready.”

Strowman toured around the UK with other RAW and SmackDown superstars last week as they performed in London, Belfast, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Sheffield and Cardiff.

The ex-RAW Tag Team Champion also attended an event in Sheffield hosted by Argos where he promoted WWE action figures and expressed his appreciation towards the British fans.

The 6ft 8in, 385lb super heavyweight said: “It’s been really fun doing all those shoots and the life-sized Mattel box that the action figure would come out from but instead I’m inside taking pictures in the store.

“It’s always fun to come out here [to the UK].

“We only come out here once or twice a year so the fans are really excited to see us.

“They bring out a whole different level of energy every night.

“It’s been really fun working in the main event every night; myself, Roman Reigns [and Universal Champion] Seth Rollins vs Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre [and] Baron Corbin.

“The crowd’s been blowing the roof off the building everywhere we went.”

WWE Superstar Braun Strowman posed in his own life-sized toy box at Argos in Sheffield. Braun’s WWE Slam Mobile Vehicle and other selected WWE toys are available with 25% off until 4 June at argos.co.uk.
