Sophie Turner: ‘Never mind’ Game of Thrones star and Joe Jonas 'SPLIT' ahead of wedding

Sophie Turner, 23, who starred as Sansa Stark in HBO series Game Of Thrones, tied the knot with Joe Jonas, 29, in Las Vegas on May 1. Ahead of their big day, Sophie said the pair had previously split up for a day after getting “cold feet”. Revealing all, Sophie told The Times: “For a second we both had cold feet, then 24 hours later we were both, like, ‘Never mind’.” A representative for Sophie Turner declined to comment when approached by Express.co.uk.

Despite getting “cold feet”, the showbiz duo tied the knot at a ceremony after attending the Billboard Music Awards 2019.

Sophie and Joe gathered up their fellow attendees including Nick Jonas, 26, and his wife Priyanka Chopra, 36.

The guest list also included DJ Diplo, 40, who documented their wedding on his Instagram page in view of his five million followers.

Screenshots from his Instagram story showed Sophie arriving to meet her husband-to-be wearing a white veil and jumpsuit.

The pair were also captured standing alongside an Elvis Presley impersonator, who reportedly cost 600 dollars to officiate the wedding.

Sophie had previously said the couple had plans for their big day to be low-key and intimate.

But, in her most recent interview with the publication, she spilled they had in fact planned to tie the knot in France this summer.

Sophie’s Maid of Honour Priyanka, who tied the knot with Nick last year, shared details of the couple’s day earlier this month.

The actress insisted Sophie and Joe’s last minute wedding came as no surprise to her and said the idea was “funny”.

“It was really funny. We were at the Billboards. Joe I think had this idea that he wanted to do this,” she told Access.

“But we were at the Billboards and he had these little black cards [invites] that we all got.”

Spilling further details on the moment, Priyanka added: “We were randomly inviting our friends, like people that we met.

“We were like, ‘Alright, we’re going to set up this wedding now, we’re going to the chapel right from here, and please arrive, please arrive.’”

She added: “Trust them to do something like that.

“And they’re going to have this amazing, beautiful wedding, obviously.”
