WWE Money in the Bank LIVE RESULTS: RAW and SmackDown aces collide, Roman Reigns in action

The best superstars from RAW and SmackDown will compete in the annual Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches and the winners will be guaranteed a title shot at any time and place they desire within the next 12 months.

The Men’s Match will be comprised of Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Ricochet, Ali, Randy Orton, Andrade, Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor and Sami Zayn, who took Braun Strowman’s place last Monday night on RAW at The O2 in London.

The Women’s Match will be consisted of Bayley, Mandy Rose, Ember Moon, Carmella, Natalya, Dana Brooke, Naomi and Nikki Cross, who replaced Alexa Bliss.

But there will be more exciting action in Hartford as the WWE and Universal Championship will be on the line.

Seth Rollins will defend RAW’s prestigious title against AJ Styles in what promises to be a stunning bout.

Kofi Kingston will put the WWE Championship on the line against Kevin Owens, who has launched a series of attacks on the title-holder and his New Day partner Xavier Woods.

Becky Lynch is set for a long night as she will defend both the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships.

Lynch will put the RAW Women’s Championship on the line in a fight against Lacey Evans.

The Man will also continue her rivalry with Charlotte Flair as the WWE megastars will fight over the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Roman Reigns is also set for his second televised Singles Match since returning to full time action following a four-month battle with leukaemia.

Reigns will fight Elias and continue his recent feud with the McMahon family.

The Usos def. SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan (KICKOFF MATCH)

Jimmy and Jey Uso picked up a very important victory over SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and Rowan.

The Usos put out the Planet’s Champions with a Double Us on Bryan folowing an exciting encounter that saw Rowan displaying his monstrous power by Suplexing both RAW rivals from the top rope.

But the six-time tag team champions managed to turn things around with a series of Superkicks and a Double Suicide Dive on the ex-Wyatt Family member that left his partner on his own.

Bryan was pinned and The Usos are now expected to challenge for the belts after their non-title victory.

Bayley won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Bayley became the third ever Ms Money in the Bank when she defeated Mandy Rose, Ember Moon, Carmella, Natalya, Dana Brooke, Naomi and Nikki Cross.

Carmella suffered a knee injury early in the match and was taken to the back but returned to action shortly after.

The ex-SmackDown Women’s Champion, though, was knocked off the top of a ladder by Rose’s associate Sonya Deville.

Deville then helped The Golden Goddess to the briefcase but Bayley knocked them both off the top to win the Money in the Bank contract.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese to battle Ariya Daivari

Rey Mysterio def. United States Champion Samoa Joe 

Rey Mysterio won the US Championship for the first time in his celebrated career with a controversial victory over Samoa Joe.

Joe set up Mysterio for a Powerbomb but the challenger countered it into a Hurracanrana for the pin.

However, The Destroyer’s shoulder seemed to be up when the referee counted to three.

An enraged Samoa Joe assaulted Mysterio after the bout and took him out with three Urinagis in front of the new champion’s son Dominic.
