Eurovision 2019: ‘Get me on the plane’ Rylan Clark Neal makes shock admission in finals

The Eurovision Song Contest finally has all of its finalists confirmed ahead of the Grand Final on Saturday.

There were no real shocks delivered from the results as all the big hitters made it through to the final.

Tonight’s affair was presented by Rylan Clark Neal and Scott Mills on the BBC and it certainly delivered viewers with some hysterical moments.

During a break following on from the performances, the Israeli hosts were joined by mentalist to the stars, Lior Suchard.

He pulled some of the acts up and asked them to write a number down on a page between one and 1000.

They all did just that and although their numbers seemed insignificant, Lior had predicted their choices and the order they would come out in.

He unveiled a large banner reading the numbers with the help from his co-host.

But when he flipped the banner upside down, it appeared to read “Eurovision”.

Nevertheless, Scott and Rylan were completely stunned by what happened and they couldn’t hold in their emotions.

Rylan cried out: “Get me on the plane!”

Scott yelled: “That’s insane! It spells Eurovision when it’s the other way around, look! That’s clever.

Viewers didn’t seem to buy the trick and thought it was probably a little bit too staged to be genuine.

One wrote: “That’s sooo fixed… he knew who he was choosing he knew all their names. .. great acting by them.”

A second added: “EXCRUCIATING MENTALIST.”

A third shared: “Why didn’t the mentalist host? He’s been more entertaining then the 4 of them.”

Elsewhere on tonight’s Eurovision Song Contest semi final, Armenia’s singer walked off stage.

Srbuk took to the stage first and performed a moody and contemporary song called Walking Out.

Right at the end of the performance, she stomped right off stage in keeping with the tone of the song.

However, viewers couldn’t help but pick up on a blunder from the editing of the routine where her audience completely disappeared.

The Eurovision Song Contest airs on Saturday at 8pm.
