Arsenal fans will love what Aaron Ramsey said after Europa League win over Valencia

Arsenal came into the game with a 3-1 lead from the first leg in North London and produced a stunning performance at the Mestalla Stadium as they won the game 4-2 on Thursday night.

Gunners boss Unai Emery, who has already won the competition three times with Sevilla, committed to playing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette up front and his selection was rewarded by the duo.

Aubameyang grabbed a hat-trick and Lacazette also got on the scoresheet as Arsenal were clinical in front of goal.

The victory has now set up an all-English Europa League final against Chelsea after the Blues beat Frankfurt 4-3 on penalties in the other semi-final tie.

And Aaron Ramsey, who is currently out injured after suffering a muscular injury during Arsenal’s Europa League quarter-final tie against Napoli, was praised his team-mates for their achievements.

“Back to Baku,” he said on Twitter.

“What a performance.”

It was feared Ramsey, who will leave on a free transfer for Juventus when his current deal expires in the summer, might have played his last game for Arsenal after picking up the injury.

But now that the Gunners have reached the final, which takes place on May 29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, the Welshman might have another opportunity to don the red and white shirt one more time.

The typical recovery time for a minor hamstring injury is four to six weeks.

Arsenal didn’t get off to the best start as Valencia scored first when Kevin Gamerio put the ball in the net after 11 minutes.

Aubameyang, who bagged his first Arsenal hat-trick on the night, replied six minutes later with a volley from 20 yards out.

Five minutes after half-time Lacazette put Arsenal ahead when he a guided his effort into the right corner.

Valencia weren’t willing to give up and Gamerio scored his second of the night just before the hour mark.

However, the night belonged to Aubameyang who gave Arsenal the lead once again after he got on the end of a Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ driven cross.

The Gabon forward then ensured he would be taking home the match ball two minutes before time, when he blasted the ball into the roof of the net from close range.
