New iPhone 11 and iPhone XR could get the upgrades Apple fans have been waiting for

It’s unlikely that we will see any significant Apple iPhone updates until much later in the year but that’s not stopping the rumours beginning to pick up pace.

There’s already been plenty of speculation about what will arrive on these all-new flagship devices with many predicting the usual bump in performance, display and battery life.

However, some of the most radical updates could be coming to the rear of the phone via some big new cameras.

The iPhone continues to be one of the most used devices for snapping photos and fans could soon be treated to some extra features that many have been waiting for.

It’s thought that Apple is planning to bring a triple lens system to its new iPhone 11 which could finally allow users to get an improved zoom and take images with a wide-angle lens.

To show how this concept will look the team at OnLeaks and CashKaro have even put a video together which shows this device from every angle.

Although the front appears to look very similar to the current iPhone XS the rear case reveals that new trio of cameras which sit in a triangular pattern in the top left-hand corner of the case.

This concept video comes as another leak, which was recently posted online via SlashLeaks, claimed to show a dummy iPhone 11 device aimed at helping third-party manufacturers produce their next case ranges.

Although the photo doesn’t show a real iPhone it does give a clear indication that a triple camera could be coming to Apple’s next flagship.

Many of Apple’s biggest rivals, including Huawei and Samsung, have now packed this camera technology into their latest devices and it would make sense for Apple to include something similar.

So, those treating themselves to a new iPhone 11 look set for this exciting change but there could also be some good news for those wanting to buy something less expensive.

Apple’s iPhone XR was announced late last year with device offering flagship specs on a much smaller budget.

With an all-screen design and A12 Bionic processor, there’s plenty to like about the XR although is does only feature a single camera on the rear case.

Now a new leak from macotakara suggests that might be about to change with the 2019 iPhone XR getting a dual-lens snapper.

This new rumour comes via Chinese supplier with it thought this device will include a wide-angle and telephoto lens.

The other snippet of info from this fresh leak is that all the new iPhones will keep their current screen sizes and OLED/LED technology.

If history repeats itself, expect official news on Apple’s latest iPhones in September.
