American actress Uma Thurman, 48, shot to fame in the early 1990s when she starred in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 film Pulp Fiction.
The award-winning movie star played aspiring actress Mia Wallace in the cult classic that received seven Oscar nominations including Best Supporting Actress for Uma.
The Hollywood leading lady went on to star in several big budget films including Les Misérables, Batman and Robin and Kill Bill as well as numerous successful rom coms over the following years.
Tonight, the actress will swap the big screen for the small screen when she appears in the premiere of new Netflix show Chambers.
In the supernatural TV series – about a woman who survives a heart transplant and becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life – Uma plays Nancy Lefevre, the grieving mother of the woman who died and donated her organs.
The 10-part horror is set to be a smash hit and has propelled Uma back into the limelight following a short spell on Broadway.
