James Bond 25 NOT Daniel Craig’s last 007? Star gives COY answer, producer wants ANOTHER

A couple of years ago the incumbent James Bond revealed he would star in a fifth and final 007 movie. However, in new interviews from Goldeneye in Jamaica, Craig was pretty coy in his assertion that it really would be. Speaking with Good Morning Britain, the 51-year-old said: “Yes, it’s my last one. Apparently, it is. I don’t know [what I will miss yet]. I am not thinking about the end. I am thinking about right now.”

Craig added: “I have got a movie to make and that is all that matters.

“I can’t start thinking about what is going to happen in the next couple of years. We all just want to make the best movie we can.”

Meanwhile, GMB’s Ross King revealed Bond producer Barbara Broccoli is trying to convince Craig to do one more 007 movie after Bond 25.

He said: “When I was asking her about it [being Daniel’s final Bond film], she said, ‘I’m in complete denial’.”

BOND 25 WILL REFLECT ME TOO MOVEMENT’S IMPACT

King added: “She is a very powerful lady, as we all know. Maybe don’t count out the fact that he might come back for just one more.”

Meanwhile, when asked in another interview there with Today Extra, Craig was more assertive but still played around the question of it being his last Bond movie.

The actor smiled before replying: “Maybe”.

He then quietly added: “Yeah, no it is.”

IS RAMI MALEK’S VILLAIN ACTUALLY BLOFELD?

Considering all the production problems, perhaps Craig is reluctant for Bond 25 to be his big finale after all.

The film saw its original director Danny Boyle and his screenwriter John Hodge leave the project over creative differences.

While the current script has had Neal Purvis and Robert Wade pen it, with Scott Z Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge being drafted in, to work on the story – the latter’s inclusion specifically being Craig’s idea. If Bond 25 goes down badly maybe the star will change his mind.

Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas on April 3, 2020.
